Jumpstart your career in cosmetic treatments with APT’s Foundation Toxin and Dermal Filler Training in Montreal.

Our Botox training covers safe and effective injectable treatment of Botulinum toxin. This includes brand names like Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, and Nuceiva.

Botox is used to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and signs of ageing. It works by temporarily relaxing the facial muscles. It also treats conditions like hyperhidrosis, cervical dystonia, and chronic migraines. Over 6 million Botox injections are administered every year.

Make your investment count. Get the best Botox training for nurses and other medical professionals.

Our Toxin Training Approach

APT’s Foundation Toxin Training is a one-day course for medical practitioners. It is designed for those who want to add Botox and dermal filler injections to their practice. It is also ideal for those seeking a higher qualification — the internationally recognized International Certificate in the Principles and Practice of Clinical Injectable Therapies.

Our training is flexible and customizable. You can choose your preferred dates based on your schedule. When you sign up for Botox training in Montreal, you have two options:

  • Option A: Complete the Foundation Toxin and Dermal Filler Training in one day. Morning sessions cover theory. The afternoon includes a live demonstration and hands-on practice with an actual patient. This is ideal for busy professionals who need to complete the course quickly.

  • Option B: Split the training across two separate days. Take toxin training on Day 1 and dermal filler training on Day 2. The second day can be scheduled at a later date. This is great for those who want to take their time and get the most out of the experience.

Here is why our Botox training in Montreal stands out from all other toxin training in Canada.

Strict 2:1 Trainee/Trainer Ratio

APT maintains a strict 2:1 trainee to trainer ratio. This ensures every participant gets maximum learning and attention.

Participants get the instructor’s full attention. They feel confident asking questions without the pressure of a crowded room. Instructors can focus on each person’s skills and address any areas that need more support.

This ratio also means more hands-on time. You won’t have to wait for your turn like in larger courses. Your instructor guides you personally throughout the entire hands-on portion. This gives you the confidence to safely administer your first Botox injection in a real clinical setting.

Follow the Footsteps of Industry Leaders

APT’s Montreal training is led by top practitioners in medical aesthetics. Our Botox training is spearheaded by APT Founder and Lead Practitioner Patricia Pezzano, BSc, BSc (NANS), RPN.

Patricia has over 20 years of expertise in facial rejuvenation. She heads her own full-service medical aesthetic practice. She also provides competitive training for fellow practitioners. Her deep knowledge of toxins and dermal fillers — combined with clinical expertise — makes for a truly unique training experience.

Hands-on Training on Live Patient Models

Morning sessions cover the theory of toxins and dermal fillers. In the afternoon, participants move to live demonstration and hands-on training with patient models.

You will learn to administer facial injections in both the upper and lower face. Trainers guide you step by step. Treatment sites covered include:

  • Down-turned mouth (depressor anguli oris)
  • Eye jelly roll (hypertrophic orbicularis)
  • Gummy smile (LLSAN)
  • Mental crease / peau d’orange / chin dimpling (mentalis)
  • Platysmal neck bands (platysma)
  • Smoker’s lines of the mouth (orbicularis oris)
  • Frown lines (glabellar complex)
  • Forehead lines (horizontal)
  • Crow’s feet (periorbital rhytids)
  • Brow lift (medial & lateral brow depressors)
  • Bunny lines of the nose (nasalis)

Who We Are For

This training is for qualified medical practitioners. It suits those who want to launch a career in cosmetic treatments. It also works for those who want to add injectables to their existing practice.

APT’s Foundation Toxin Training is open to licensed physicians, dentists, and nurses. We welcome participants from across Canada and around the world.

We also offer an Online Training Toxin and Dermal Filler Module. This lets you learn the theory of Botox injections online. You can also audit a 2-day course before flying in for the hands-on training.

Our Toxin Training Courses

APT Injection Training offers a wide range of courses in facial rejuvenation. Here is what else we offer:

Foundation Toxin and Dermal Filler Certificate of Attendance

This is a 2-day course for registered medical professionals. It combines theoretical pre-course learning, practical demonstrations, and hands-on training on live models. It is the minimum required to begin practising toxin and dermal filler treatments. It can also count as credit toward the internationally recognized International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.

International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.

APT is the only toxin training centre in North America to offer true third-party certification. We do this through our UK partner MATA training and OTHM — an internationally recognized awarding body. OTHM is regulated by Ofqual and recognized by Qualifications Wales.

This means your experience at APT can count toward an internationally recognized certificate. The certification requires university-level pre-course work (230 UK CME), 3 days of intensive training, a logbook, and short answer questions. Everything is independently assessed by OTHM.

This is true certification. Other courses that “certify” use only their own internal standards. APT has been independently assessed and certified by a recognized organization. This is a strong endorsement of the quality you can expect from our training.

Basic Lower Face Cannula Training–Hyaluronic Acid

Learn how to administer dermal fillers using the cannula technique. This 1-day course covers similar topics to the Basic Filler Training Course. It uses the same pre-course material and the same 2:1 ratio with 7-8 live models. The key difference is hands-on practice with cannulas instead of needles.

Advanced Dermal Filler Training–Hyaluronic Acid & Radiesse

This is the next step after Foundation Basic Filler and Lower Face Cannula Training. It is a 1-day course that introduces cannula injections and focuses on advanced areas like the temples and tear troughs. It includes pre-course reading, a 2:1 ratio, and 7-8 live models.

We recommend having at least 50 patients injected before taking this course. Adverse events in the temples and tear troughs can be severe and permanent.

Lip Filler Training

This is a comprehensive 1-day hands-on course with live models. It covers the latest hyaluronic acid dermal fillers for lip enhancement. Topics include filler history, FDA approval, mechanism of action, contraindications, risks, and emergency procedures.

The focus is on achieving natural, proportional lips. You will learn techniques for volume, definition, support, and contour.

The Laser Module Course

This online course covers the safe and effective use of laser and intense light technology. Topics include hair reduction and skin rejuvenation. Buying a laser machine is a major investment. This course helps you make the right choice for your practice and client profile.

You will learn core laser technology so you can evaluate machines on the market. The goal is to help you choose the right equipment for your business.

Dental Filler & Botox Training

This is an intensive 1-day course for dentists. It covers neurotoxin injections and lip filler services. Pre-course material includes anatomy, contraindications, risks, hyaluronidase use, and emergency procedures.

Hands-on training covers cosmetic toxin injections, TMJ injections, and lower face dermal filler. We use the same 2:1 ratio as all APT courses to maximize hands-on time and confidence.
