Perfectly crafted with the balance of theoretical and practical knowledge, our Botox training

delves into the details of providing safe and effective injectable treatment of Botulinum toxin, more popularly known as brand names Botox/Xeomin/Dysport/Nuceiva.

Primarily used as an injectable beauty treatment, Botox enhances the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other noticeable signs of ageing by temporarily relaxing the facial muscles. It is also tapped to medically address conditions like hyperhidrosis, cervical dystonia, and chronic migraines. It is one of today’s most sought-after non-surgical and non-invasive injectable treatments with over 6 million Botox injections administered every year.

Make your time, effort, and money count by investing it in getting the best Botox training for nurses and other medical professionals.

Our Toxin Training Approach

APT’s Foundation Toxin Training is a comprehensive one-day cosmetic nurse course targeted for medical practitioners who are seeking to expand their current paths of practice and reach more clients by adding Botox and dermal filler injections to their expertise.

Our Botox training in Montreal is also an excellent career strategy for professionals who wish to continue gaining more in-depth knowledge on the latest advancements in the realm of medical aesthetics and completing a higher independent qualification from an internationally recognized International Certificate in the Principles and Practice of Clinical Injectable Therapies (Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers).

Catering to busy working professionals, our Botox training for nurses are highly customizable and allows potential participants to pick out their desired training dates based on their personal availability and learning process. Should you decide to sign up for our Botox training in Montreal, you will be given the liberty to choose from the following options:

  • Option A: Take our Foundation Toxin and Dermal Filler Training course in one (1) day. You will have lectures about toxin injection training with dermal filler training in the morning and have a live demonstration and hands-on with an actual patient in the afternoon. This is highly recommended for participants who have a hectic schedule that can only squeeze in one day out of their calendars or who have a more urgent need to finish our cosmetic nurse course.
  • Option B: Take your time and relish an exciting learning experience with our Botox training in Montreal split into two (2) individual training days. For this setup, you can take the toxin training on Day 1 and have the dermal filler training for Day 2, which can be scheduled at a later date or vice versa. This is a fantastic option for participants who have the luxury of time and want to make sure that they get the most benefit from our cosmetic nurse courses.

Check out other valuable reasons why our Botox training in Montreal is the best out of all the toxin training being offered in Canada.

Strict 2:1 Trainee/Trainer Ratio

To guarantee that each of our participants will obtain the maximum learning and overall experience in all of our Botox training Montreal, APT adheres to a small class policy with a strictly 2:1 trainee to trainer ratio.

We have found that most of our participants have a higher satisfaction with this personalized teaching/learning approach, where in they have the instructor’s full attention and feel confident speaking their mind without the possibility of being intimidated by a crowded room. Instructors can focus on honing the skills of each participant and addressing weak points or certain areas of concern where they feel they need more mentoring.

In addition, this also gives each participant ample amount of time to experience the actual hands-on part of our Botox training for nurses. They are thrilled to find out that they do have to wait for their turn during hands-on, unlike in other cosmetic nurse courses that fit in a lot of students. The significant amount of time they have for hands-on with their instructor closely guiding them personally provides medical professionals enough confidence that they can safely and properly administer their first Botox injection in a real clinical scenario.

Pezzano heads her own full-service medical aesthetic practice and provides competitive training for fellow practitioners. With her on the lead, our cosmetic nurse course offers the perfect balance of impressive theory base with practical clinical expertise.

Our Toxin Training Courses

APT Injection Training has a wide selection of courses dedicated to facial rejuvenation. Aside from strictly toxin training in Toronto, we also offer the following:

Foundation Toxin and Dermal Filler Certificate of Attendance

A 2-day training course intended for registered medical professionals. It combines critical theoretical pre course learning, practical demonstration of procedures, and extensive hands-on training on live models. It is a stand alone course that is the minimum required to begin practising toxin and dermal filler treatments.  It  can also be used as credit toward the more intensive, internationally recognized International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.

International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.

APT Injection Training is the only toxin training centre in North America to offer true third-party certification through our UK partner, MATA training and OTHM, an internationally recognized awarding body. OTHM, a globally recognized awarding organization, is regulated by the Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and recognized by Qualifications Wales. This means that you are able to apply the experience you have gained in our courses toward an internationally recognized International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies. The international certification involves completion of extensive , university level pre course work (representing 230 UK CME), 3 days of intensive training, completion of a logbook and short answer questions that are all independently assessed by OTHM who then awards the certification.  This is true certification. Other courses that “ certify” are really doing it only to their standards, not independently developed and assessed standards. APT Injection Training has been independently assessed, including our processes, training materials, and other related matters and certified by a recognized independent organization. This is a valuable endorsement that promotes the level of expertise and quality that you can expect from our Botox Training in Toronto course and its instructors.

Basic Lower Face Cannula Training–Hyaluronic Acid

Learn an alternative way to administer dermal fillers on clients via the cannula technique. This 1-day course training will go over similar topics in the Basic Filler Training Course, include the same pre course reading material, employs the same 2:1 trainee :trainer ratio with approximately 7-8 live models but the hands-on training will involve the use of cannulas instead of needles.

Advanced Dermal Filler Training–Hyaluronic Acid & Radiesse

This is the next step after Foundation Basic Filler Injection and the Lower Face Cannula Training Program. It’s a 1-day training course that introduces cannula injections and focuses more on advanced treatment areas, such as the temples and tear troughs.  It includes pre course reading material, employs the same 2:1 trainee :trainer ratio with approximately 7-8 live models for hands on injections. This is highly recommended for professionals with prior experience of injecting at least 50 patients before taking this course as the adverse events in the temples and tear troughs can be severe and permanent.

Lip Filler Training

A comprehensive 1-day hands-on training on live models and lecture covering the latest types of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers for lip enhancement. It goes in-depth on dermal fillers (history, FDA approval, and mechanism of action), establishing client expectations, recognizing contraindications, potential risks including the use of hyaluronidase and emergency procedure. The focus is on different types of lip injections to achieve volume, definition, support and contour but most importantly to obtain natural looking, proportional lips that clients will love.

The Laser Module Course

This online training course is expertly written to support you with your theoretical learning on the safe and effective use of laser and intense light technology for cosmetic treatments, such as hair reduction and skin rejuvenation.  Purchasing a laser machine is a major investment that requires in depth laser knowledge to make sure you make the correct purchase for your practice and client profile.  This course will help you do that by educating you on the core laser technology, so you understand the individual machine nuances as they are trialled in your business. The objective is to enable practitioners to succinctly assess the different laser machines on the market to help you choose the right machine for your practice.

Dental Filler & Botox Training

An intensive 1-day training course for dentists who seek to add  neurotoxin injection and lip filler services to their current scope of practice. It involves pre course theoretical material covering both neurotoxin and dermal filler including anatomy, recognizing contraindications, potential risks, the use of hyaluronidase and emergency procedures. The hands on injection portion will include cosmetic toxin injections, TMJ injections, lips and lower face dermal filler indications. We employ the same, customized 2:1 trainee:trainer ratio as in all of our APT courses to ensure maximum hands on injection and confidence when leaving the course.
