Our Foundation Toxin Training here at APT covers the proper techniques for using Botulinum Toxin for non-invasive facial rejuvenation. This comprehensive and extensive hands-on learning experience is designed for medical practitioners who want to add Botox injection administration to their skill sets to attract more clients. Practitioners who wish to achieve a higher level of qualification can do so with the International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies administered in conjunction with our training partners in the UK.
APT provides flexible options for learners on how they wish to take injection training in America. For instance, the Foundation Toxin and Dermal Filler Training, one of our most popular courses, can be taken two ways:
Here are some other reasons why ours is the best Botox training for the United States:
APT offers the opportunity to learn only from the best. Our training sessions are led by experienced and acclaimed experts in the world of cosmetic treatments.
Our toxin training is led and overseen by APT Founder and Lead Practitioner Patricia Pezzano, RN, BScN. Driven by her passion for making high-quality facial rejuvenation available all over North America, she runs her own medical aesthetics practice while also actively training aspiring practitioners. With over two decades of experience, she is able to share with trainees her best-kept secrets in achieving the “perfect practice” in using toxin injections and dermal fillers.
In order to provide the best possible learning experience for our trainees, we have found that smaller classes deliver more dramatic results. That’s why we maintain a maximum trainee to trainer ratio of 2:1 for all our injection training for Americans. Through this personalized approach, you will get the following benefits:
APT’s Foundation Toxin Training course comes with university-level pre-course materials that will cover the theoretical knowledge that you need regarding toxins and dermal fillers. The Injection training for American courses will begin with a lecture in the morning. Instructors will cover the following concepts:
By mid morning, the practical demonstration and hands-on part of the training begins. This is a crucial component of the injection certification because it provides participants with a chance to see how a toxin injection is administered safely and effectively by our expert trainers on a live model. Eventually, trainees will do these techniques by themselves with step-by-step guidance from the instructor.
During the hands-on filler and Botox training for the United States, the following treatment sites will be covered:
We highly recommend our injection training for American licensed medical professionals who would like to advance their career into the world of cosmetic treatments. These include:
APT encourages practitioners from all over the world to sign up for our Botox training courses. Our exclusive, meticulously planned courses are designed to exceed each participant’s learning expectations. Keeping the best interests of busy working professionals in mind, we offer flexible options so that our courses will fit any kind of schedule.
Furthermore, we also have an Online Training: Toxin and Dermal Filler Module which gives trainees the chance to learn all the theoretical foundations of these procedures before committing to the actual hands-on training with us.
This two-day training course is designed for registered medical professionals and offers comprehensive theoretical pre-course learning, practical demonstration of procedures, and extensive hands-on training on live models. It is a stand-alone course that is the minimum requirement to begin providing toxin and dermal filler treatments.
This course can also be used as credit toward the more intensive, internationally recognized International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.
In North America, APT Injection Training is the only toxin and dermal filler injection centre that offers true third-party certification through our UK partner, MATA training and OTHM. MATA Training is a leading Medical and Aesthetics Academy for healthcare professionals in the UK. Meanwhile, OTHM is a globally recognized awarding organization, is regulated by the Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and recognized by Qualifications Wales.
With APT Injection Training, you are able to apply the credentials you have gained in our courses toward an internationally recognized International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.
The international certification involves the following:
Note: What we offer is a true certification. Other courses that “certify” are really doing it only to their standards, not through independently developed and assessed standards. Our processes, training materials, and other related matters have been independently assessed and certified by a recognized independent organization. This valuable endorsement attests to the high level of expertise and quality of training that you can expect from our courses and instructors.
The cannula technique is an alternative way to administer dermal fillers on clients in a way that allows the practitioner to apply appropriate pressure and avoid veins, arteries, and nerves. Through this course, you will learn to master this technique for procedures on the lower part of the face.
This one-day training course will go over similar topics in the Basic Filler Training Course, includes the same pre-course reading material, and employs the same 2:1 trainee to trainer ratio with approximately seven to eight live models. The only difference is that the hands-on training will involve the use of cannulas instead of needles.
After Foundation Basic Filler Injection and the Lower Face Cannula Training Program, this course is the next step. This one-day training course focuses on cannula injections and covers more advanced treatment areas, such as the temples and tear troughs.
This course is highly recommended for professionals with prior experience of injecting a minimum of 50 patients before taking this course as the adverse effects in the temples and tear troughs can be severe and permanent.
This training course includes pre-course reading materials, employs the same 2:1 trainee to trainer ratio, and has approximately seven to eight live models for hands-on injections.
This comprehensive course spans for one day and focuses on the different types of lip injections to achieve volume, definition, support and contour, but most importantly to obtain natural-looking, proportional lips that clients will love.
The lecture portion of the training course covers the latest types of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers for lip enhancements and discusses topics in-depth such as dermal fillers (history, FDA approval, and mechanism of action), establishing client expectations, recognizing contraindications, as well as the potential risks including the use of hyaluronidase and their emergency procedures.
Hands-on training on live models is also included and occurs at the latter part of the course.
The Laser Module Course is an online training program that is expertly written to give trainees the theoretical knowledge they need in order to practice the safe and effective use of laser and intense light technology for cosmetic treatments. This technology is used for hair reduction as well as skin rejuvenation.
Furthermore, purchasing a laser machine is a major investment that requires in-depth laser knowledge to ensure you make the correct purchase for your practice and client profile. This course will help you to obtain the best laser machine for your practice by educating you on the core laser technology and each individual machine nuance.
This is an intensive one-day training course that is designed for dentists who seek to add neurotoxin injection and lip filler services to their current scope of practice. In the training course, learners are given pre-course theoretical material that covers essential knowledge on neurotoxin and dermal filler use. Supporting concepts are also covered including anatomy, recognizing contraindications, potential risks, the use of hyaluronidase, and emergency procedures.
The course also includes a hands-on injection portion such as cosmetic toxin injections, TMJ injections, as well as lips and lower face dermal filler indications. We employ the same customized 2:1 trainee to trainer ratio as in all of our APT courses to ensure maximum hands-on injection knowledge and confidence when leaving the course.
